Govt again cheats Jammu region
1/6/2014 11:30:50 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 6: The National Conference -Congress coalition Government again deceived people of Jammu region when the Cabinet sub-committee changed its programme of visiting various districts of Jammu region without prior information.
The committee was scheduled to start its process from Kashmir valley from Tuesday but all of a sudden the programme changed and now Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts will be first visited by CSC followed by other districts of Jammu region. The Kashmir valley will be visited after completing the process in Jammu region.
Sources in the Government said that a meeting was held inside the chamber of Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand today where members of CSC met and held a marathon meeting. In the meeting it was decided that the CSC will visit the far off districts of Doda and Kishtwar followed by Udhampur and Reasi on Wednesday, Rajouri and Poonch on Thursday and Samba and Kathua on Friday.
But this decision has not given time to people of Jammu region to prepare list their priorities and the people, by and large feel cheated.
Sources said that it was a well thought out decision by the National Conference Ministers belonging to Kashmir valley as they and their party leaders were not ready with the documents to be presented in front of the committee in Valley. Thus they got into a hurdle and decided to first allow people of Jammu region to present their views and give people of Kashmir another few days to prepare.
The National Conference leaders are best in changing the scripts of issues and this time also the script has been changed in fraction of a second. It is up to Ministers of leaders of Jammu to keep eye on such developments so that they don't lack behind.
