Kathua, Jan 19: In the aim to strengthen Bharatiya Janta Party, BJP, at ground level, Ashok Koul, Sangthan Mantri, BJP State, chaired a meeting with newly elected MLAs, District Kathua BJP body, Mandals and workers in Kathua where Koul instructed leaders to launch online membership drive at large scale in District Kathua. While passing instructions to leaders in the meeting, Ashok Koul said high command has made a plan to strengthen the party at ground level where continual interaction with the voters to redress their demands is mandatory for each party worker. He said, "the party expresses gratitude to people who gave chance to serve the state and the party will realize its responsibility towards people". He said high command would soon take a decision on formation of government in the state. Koul said Centre high command has instructed to launch membership drive through SMSs, Missed calls and internet where maximum membership should be taken place to make the party largest in the state without any regional and religion bias. He said the party has fixed a target of more than 10 lacs in J&K within months. It is mandatory to mention here that BJP has decided to enhance the membership of workers more than 10 crore to make the party largest ever in the world. Koul issued instructions to the workers to launch membership drive in their areas and send a regular report to state body. MLA Kathua Rajeev Jasrotia, Kuldeep Kali MLA Hiranagar, Vijay Sharma Distt BJP President, Romesh Gupta, President Mandal Kathua, Parkash Sharma President Mandal Ghagwal, Anil Parshar President Mandal Lakhanpur, Chatter Singh President Mandal Andhard, Vickey Sharma President Mandal Kandi were also present and ensured the party to urge voters to join BJP with the slogan Sab ka Saath- Sab ka Vikas. |
