| Selection list of Anganwari workers criticized | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Jan19: Deserving candidate for the post of Anganwari workers pointed out the selection list released by ICDS department where ineligible candidate has been selected on the basis of fake documents.
Banarsi Ram, father-in -law of Renu Devi, a resident of Palkh village falling under Basohli Tehsil, called on district Project Officer and highlighted the matter and appealed for verify the selection list.
While interacting to media, Ram said an unmarried candidate who belongs to another village has been selected against the vacant post meant for ward no. 7 of the village. He alleged on department to select the candidate on the basis of fake documents of married certificate and resident of the Palkh village but actually she belongs to another village and ineligible for the post.
He demanded severe inquiry in the matter and pointed out the selection process for Anganwari workers. He said people know that the girl is unmarried, belongs to another village and does not fall in eligible criteria for the post.
When approached to RN Sadhu, District Programme Officer, ICDS, he ensured to verify the matter. He instructed CDPO Basohli to present the reliable documents of selected candidate according to the eligibility criteria and ensured appealer to disengage selected candidate if anything wrong found in the selection process. RN Sadhu orders selected candidate and CDPO to present the matter before the office by Wednesday and assured to verify keenly verify the selection process. |
