Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 19: Jammu and Kashmir Teacher's Welfare Association (JKTWA) president Jasmeet Singh Madaan today urged Governor, NN Vohra and Commissioner /Secretary, Education, Madam Nirmala Sharma to exempt the Teachers'/ Master's/Lecturers who have completed their tenure in rural areas and are repatriate back in their home district awaiting their suitable adjustment besides "Physically Challenged and Medical Board" recommended cases out of the purview of Order No. 08. According to press release, Association hails widely the initiatives taken by the Governor and higher authorities of Education department particularly to stream line cleanse the Education department and bring back the derailed education system, at the same time it is urged to do justice. who have already completed their tenure in rural areas and were waiting for their suitable adjustment since long, but the recently past holocaust of "Corrupt System" has cast so much damage to the department that to mint money from the innocent Trs/ Masters/ Lecturers, a large scale promotions were made notwithstanding the fact that there are very less vacant posts, the very few lucky enough to get posting in their respective home district has spent lakhs for their suitable adjustment. "It is also urged upon His Excellency, Governor to constitute a high- level committee comprising of eminent academicians, intellectuals besides Teachers' Associations to initiate number of measures to improve the Education system besides a comprehensive 'Transfer Policy", they said. |
