MLA Udhampur holds women’s meeting 1/21/2015 12:03:59 AM Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Jan 20 : Newly elected MLA of Udhampur, Pawan Kumar Gupta presided over a meeting of women from Mand and Lagte zone. Women gathered in huge numbers to convey grievances of their local areas. They informed the MLA about the sporadic supply of electricity and water. The lack of these basic facilities causes huge inconvenience and discomfort to their daily lives. The women expressed hope that things will change soon now that Pawan Kumar Gupta was their MLA. On this occasion, Pawan Gupta said that he attributes his victory to a large extent to the women of his constituency as they stepped out of their houses in large numbers and voted for him. He expressed gratitude and ensured his commitment for the betterment of Udhampur.
