| Drug abuse awareness programme held | | |

Samba, Jan 20 : A Social organization namely Peoples Forum for Human Values samba organized an awareness programme on the theme of menace of Drug Abuse for the in service teachers at District Institute and Training Tarore samba.
Principal DIET Samba presided over programme in which nearly sixty teachers were participated. The speakers concern with the forum Lt. Col (Retd) Karan Singh Sambyal President, Surjeet Singh; Advocate Subash Singh Sambyal shared their views in detail on this dangerous social evil of drug abuse and requested the teachers to put their best efforts in the society for the eradication of this menace.
Role of the teachers and parents were discussed for waning the students and youth to put an end of this menace of drug abuse which is causing great harm to the young generation, said Surjeet Singh. Principal of the DIET Samba spoke on the occasion to concern with the subject and also thanked the forum members to organize the awareness programme for the teachers.
