Baramulla, Jan 20: Two overground workers of Hizbul Mujahideen(HM) outfit were arrested by Police in Kreeri area of Baramulla district on Tuesday.
A senior official told early Times that, " on a specific information a joint team of Police, Special Operation Group and CRPF arrested two Overground Workers (OGW) of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit from Hail area of Kreeri tehsil in Baramulla districton Tuesday.
Police's counter insurgency group headed by DSP Operations Kreeri Baramulla, after receiving a tip off information, arrested two OGWs of HM outfit, official said.
Official said and added that , "Asif Ali Lone S/O Ali Mohammad Lone and Mohammad Ashraf Khan S/O Ghulam Mohammad Khan R/O Khonchipora Tangmarag were arrested during a raid in Hail Kreeri and recovered 02 UBGL Grenades and 01 Anti Tank Grenade from their possession. However early times have learnt that police have registered a case vide FIR no 07/2015, 07/25 under Arms act, and 120B RPC and police is questioning from both the overground workers of HM.
