Hemophilia Society donates medicines to affected persons | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 27 : Continuing its helping hand to Hemophilia patients J&K Hemophilia Society Jammu chapter today organized a function and donated much needed but costly medicines some to the affected persons here today. The medicines worth Rs 7 lakhs donated were provided by Bharat Heavy Electoral Ltd (BHEL) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiate. Dr Yash Pal Sharma Mission Director National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) J&K was the chief guest while veteran Journalist and social activist Suhail Kazmi was the guest of honour. Meanwhile, representative from BHEL -the donor agency Atul Thakur, Founder member J&K Hemophilia Society Jammu Jagdish Sharma, Ms Manjri Singh Head Childline India Foundation (j&K), President of society Rohit Jandial and President J&KHS Chanchal Bhasin were also present. Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Dr Yash Pal Sharma said that hemophilia which is genetic disorders impairs the body's ability to control blood clotting and the patient care costs a lot to the patients and their family. BHEL representative Atul Thakur reiterated company will continue to help who need a helping hand. |
