Sajad Lone is not in cabinet 2/28/2015 12:14:47 AM The People's Conference Chairman Sajad Gani Lone has opted to be out of the alliance for being ditched by the BJP at the eleventh hour. Sources said the BJP was favouring inclusion of Sajad in the Mufti led cabinet, however, PDP expressed its serious reservations forcing its alliance partner to withdraw the name of Sajad from the list of probable's. They said that Sajad was conveyed late last night by the BJP leadership that he was not going to be inducted into the cabinet as the PDP had serious reservations on his induction into the Council of Ministers. Sources said a furious Sajad immediately opted out of the coalition and flew to Srinagar this morning minutes after conveying his decision to sit in opposition to the BJP. They said that Sajad will now not come for casting his vote to Jammu in Upper House elections on March 2. They said that Sajad conveyed to the BJP President Amit Shah that it was not fair on their part to discuss his inclusion or exclusion in the cabinet with PDP leaders as the decision for his induction should have come from the BJP alone. "Why should they discuss my inclusion or exclusion with a party against which I fought the elections" Sajad was quoted by the sources as having said.
