KDA fails to repatriate education department employee | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 27: In an open act of favoritism and nepotism in Kishtwar Development Authority (KDA), an education department employee posted in the KDA has been retained by the officials while at the same time seven employees including two Junior Assistants and five IV class employees were repatriated to allied Tourism Department. As per the details available with Early Times KDA while acting on the Governor N N Vohra's directions repatriated seven employees Farooq Ahmed Kandoo, Ashok Kumar both Junior Assistants, Bashir Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad, Nageena Begum, Irshad Ahmad and Shabir Ahmad all class IV employees to Tourism department. The KDA showed indifferent attitude while ordering detachment of senior Assistant Akhter Hussain who hails from education department posted at Higher Secondary School Chinta in Bhaderwah of Doda District and was attached with KDA Kishtwar as Senior Assistant. Akhter was first sent on deputation to Bhaderwah Tourism Development Authority (BTDA) and remain posted in BTDA for almost six years before he joined KDA in August 2014. At the time when Director School Education Jammu ordered him to join back his duty at Chinta, but instead he (Akhter) joined at Kishtwar on the order of Director Tourism Jammu issued six month prior to the order issued by DSE Jammu. The repatriation of the seven employees to Tourism Department by KDA has virtually defunct the functioning of Tourist Reception Center Kishtwar as the KDA is facing shortage of manpower right from its establishment during Mufti Mohammad Syed led PDP-Congress coalition government in 2005. |
