Jammu, Feb 27 : Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation Er. Kiran Wattal paid a tribute to freedom fighter Chander Shekher Azad in presence of freedom fighters at various places in Jammu.
It was long pending demand of the freedom fighters to construct a meeting room and Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation immediately directed the concerned Executive Engineer to take up the work of meeting room of 18/14 as well as toilet facility and to raise the Nallah wall to make a green terrace, so that it can look beautifully neat and clean.
He also directed the Chief Transport Officer to remove the malba from Nallah, so that, there may be free flow of waste water in the Nallah. People thanked the Commissioner, JMC for taking immediate action in this regard.
Among other, Executive Engineers, Health Officer, Chief Transport Officer, Municipal Veterinary Officer, Asst. Executive Engineers, and other staff from Corporation were accompanied the Commissioner during the occasion. |
