Kathua, Feb,27: Newly elected MLA Rajeev Jasrotia today visited village Phalote where large number of people expressed their grievances and especially demanded to review Below Poverty Line, BPL, List that has some deficiencies as benefit is not given to deserving families.
While expressing grievance about unavailability of basic amenities in the village like road connectivity, lanes & drains, curtailment of power supply etc, people demanded immediate redress of their demands. After listening patiently and reviewing existing worse condition of livelihood, Rajeev Jasrotia, MLA Kathua ensured people to redress their demands after formation of new coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said new government will review Below Poverty Line, BPL, lists being prepared by previous government and ensured to revoke all deficiencies to provide facility at right hands.
He said it is known to all that BPL facility meant for poor section is not reached at deserving people but the process will not continue in days to come. |
