Jammu, Apr 2: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Danish Rana today visited border villages of Jammu district to review the situation, here on Thursday. According to police spokesperson, the senior police official visited all the police stations and police posts situated along the International Border (IB) viz. Border Police Post Nari, Border Police Post Badyal Brahmana, Border Police Post Agrachack, Border Police Post Baspur Bangla, Border Police Post Chakroi, Border Police Post Dewangarh, Border Police Post Sai Kalan, Border Police Post Trewa, Kathar, Border Post Abdullian and Border Post Suchetgarh to take stock of security situation. "While interacting with his subordinates, IGP exhorted them to remain extra vigilant especially in the wake of twin terror attacks in border districts namely Kathua and Samba, spokesperson added. He said, "During his visit to border police station, the IGP Jammu also held interaction with the BSF officials and residents of border villages and listened to their grievances. The senior police official was accompanied by SP HQ Randheer Singh, SDPO R S Pura Davender Singh and SHO R S Pura Chandan Kohli. |
