| Rajouri, Apr 2 : Doctors appointed under National Health Mission (NHM) and appointed at Community Health Centre (CHC), Darhal, have demanded incentives as per other doctors in Darhal Medical Block. In this connection, they submitted a memorandum to Dr Iqbal Malik, Block Medical Officer (BMO), who forwarded it to Chief Medical Officer for his perusal and necessary action. Dr Rajiv Sharma, CMO, vide his office letter No CMO/R/NHM/DPMU/2015-16/6-7 dt 2/4/15 after discussion with the concerned officer have sent the memorandum to Mission Director National Health Mission J&K for action in this matter. Dr Bilal Ahmed Mattoo and Dr Samina Malik both appointed at Darhal, CHC, for the last few years said that they have been performing their duties 24X7, including on Sundays and national holidays as they are staying inside the hospital complex. "Doctors appointed in the same Medical Block including at CHC at Thanamandi, Public Health Centre (PHC) at Shahdra, PHC at Lah, PHC at Tarala etc are taking incentives as per norms while we have been ignored" said Dr Bilal A Matoo. |
