RET Forum condemns statements of Education Ministers and MLA Doda

Doda, Apr 2 : RET Teachers expressed their anguish over the controversial orders and irresponsible statements given by the Education Minister and MLA Doda in the Lageslative Assembly. According to press release, in a meeting was held at Doda, the ReT Forum threatened to launch state wide protest. The was held under the chairmanship of Sajad Malik District president Doda in which zonal president's and apex body members participated and highlighted the various issues and problems faced by the RET community. Speaking on the occasion the member of forum expressed their anguish over the controversial orders and irresponsible statements given by the Education Minister and MLA Doda in the Lageslative Assembly and in media. Speaking on the occasion Sajad Malik District president Doda expressed his anguish over the controversial and defamatory statement of Education Minister appeared in daily news papers in which Minister stated that "Illitrate became masters in Education department, unpad ban gayie master .......kuch teachroun ko A,B,C tak nahi aati." Malik said unfortunately Minister sahab is ignorant about the department and has been misguided by some people before giving any statement in the media or issuing any order. "Should think about the ground realities, he has underestimated the teaching community Especially ReT teachers by issuing controversial orders of exempting them from exam duties. We ignored it and he issued a defamatory statement against ReT community in the media. He is harassing a particular community by issuing such controversial and shameful statement", he said, adding that the RET teachers regularized under SSA are suffering without salary from last 4 to 10 months in different districts. "We discussed about this heart and mind wrenching issue of SSA salary with the Education Minister but he does not show any interest in resolving this and instead of providing salary Minister is just humiliating the RET community who r working in the department without salary from 4to 10 months which is not tolerable to us. Others Who expressed their anguish were sr vice president Ashiq Jaral, General Secy sarfraz misger, Hemait wani organisor , Ashfaq natnoo press and publicity secretary, Gh Ali zone president Ghat, Vevik Manhas zonal president Bahalla, Naseer Ahmed zonal president Gundna, Sajad Rahi sr vice president Bhagwah, Sandeep Rana zonal president Doda, Naseer Ahmed Batt zonal president Thathri, Arshad Abdullah Butt organisor Zone Doda and others
