DDC reviews situation arise due to inclement weather, schools closed for two days

Reasi, Apr 3 : In wake of prevailing adverse weather condition, District Development Commissioner, Reasi Sushma Chauhan toady convened a meeting of civil administration, BRO and other allied agencies to take stock of situation arise due to inclement weather in the District.
District Development Commissioner instructed the officers to remain present at their respective headquarters, monitor situation closely keep men and machinery available to meet eventuality that might arise due to increase rains, landslides or flash floods. All the Tehsildar's of the district were also directed to inform people to take all precautionary measures.
DDC also issued an order to close all educational institutions in Reasi district in view of the flood and landslides threat due to incessant rains in last two days. All schools in Reasi district would remain closed for April 3 to April 4, 2015 in view of situation arise due to inclement weather, DDC informed.
