Pranav Shagotra Promoted Pradesh Youth Congress Chief 4/3/2015 11:11:03 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 3: In an organizational revamp, as a part of efforts to rejuvenate Pardesh Youth Congress, Amrinder Singh Raja Brar, MLA President All Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Promoted Pranav Shagotra as the new president of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress. This is an unprecedented pronouncement to strengthen the youth congress as generally no appointments of such nature are made. Pranav Shagotra called Raja Brar President IYC and G. A. Mir President JKPCC to express his special thanks and assured the leaders that he will leave no stone unturned in efforts to strengthen youth congress at the gross root level. Pranav Shagotra started his political career as NSUI District General Secretary in 2003. He was appointed as the State General Secretary of Pardesh Youth Congress in 2011. He contested elections of PYC in 2012 and became the Vice President of State Youth Congress. The appointment of Pranav Shagotra is an attempt to strengthen the organization and to bring the fresh blood in the mainstream politics. He is vibrant youth leader and had been to many foreign countries to present the case of young people. Pranav Shagotra has posed full faith in the Congress leadership and expressed gratitude to Hon'ble AICC President Sonia Gandhi and AICC Vice President Sh. Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary AICC, Smt. Ambika Soni Secretary AICC, Suraj Hedge, President JKPCC Ghulam Ahmed Mir, IYC Secretary Dr. Umma Shankar Pandey and Sham Lal Sharma Sr. Vice President JKPCC. Meanwhile youth congress activists from all over the state welcomed the appointment of Sh. Pranav Shagotra.
