Jammu, Apr 3: To take stock of the upcoming works for the welfare of patients in Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) today chaired an emergency meeting of the Hospital Development Board in which Principal, Medical Superintendent and concerning incharge of various other departments of hospital participated. According to spokesperson, Sat Sharma (CA) said that a provision of more than Rs 45 Lakhs out of Hospital Development Fund has been made by the Hospital Development Board for the upcoming developmental works in the Hospital. He stated that provisions has been made for various necessary works in the hospital including seating arrangements in the waiting area of ICU's, OT's and Wards in the Hospital. "Repair & Maintenance of various areas of the Wards and fixtures like Wheel Chairs, Modification of existent patient trolleys, Examination couches & office furniture, Air Conditioning in Emergency area, Proper Sanitation in the Hospital, Provision of Drinking water facility and Maintenance of elevators were discussed in the meeting, the press statement issued today said. The MLA also stressed upon cleanliness in the Hospital premises so that "Swach Bharat Abhiyaan" could be promoted. The MLA also assured that any extra necessary help to improve the infrastructure of the hospital will be done and the help of Minister of Health and Medical Education will also be taken in this regard. Principal GMC Dr Ghansham Dev, Medical Superintendent Ravinder Rattanpal, MO Store Dr Uttam Singh, Emergency Incharge Dr Sujay Mahajan, HOD Cardiac Dr Susheel Sharma, Dy Medical Supdtt Dr Wasiq Rasool, Ex En Mechanical HS Chibber, AEE Mechanical Rita Rehan, AEE Md. Tariq Raina, Accounts officer Sulekha Gupta, JE Anshu Akash, CMO Dr Sanjeev and others were present in the meeting. |
