JKTA holds meeting, highlight demands | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 13: Jammu Kashmir State teachers Association (JKTA) held under the Presidentship of S. Kulwant Singh President Jammu Kashmir state teachers Association in which members discussed various issues pertaining to teaching fraternity. The problems of teaching community are discussed. It is pertinent to mention here the recently transfers of ReTs made from Govt. Middle School B C Road Jammu are due to misinformation given to the Higher authorities. "The ReT teachers who had been engaged as RET in 2003 in Govt. P.S. Khootalab, Govt. P.S. Shalamar, Govt. P.S. Maheshpura and Govt. P.S.B.C road worked in their respective schools and the schools had adequate enrolment. But the Schools were open in a rental accommodation. "the then chief education Officer Jammu asked to club the schools in the Govt. Middle School B.C. road Jammu by verbal order, speakers added. The R.E.T teachers of above cited schools shifted along with respective enrolment in Govt. M.S. B.C road and started their duties there and after completing their stipulated period of 5 years they have been regularized and it clearly shows that the RET teachers are not to blame. |
