Badami Bagh Army school principal denie admission to local children | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 13: Despite clear cut policy from the government of India to provide admission to the meritorious and deserving students in Army Schools across the state of Jammu and Kashmir as a part of building confidential measures and part of its civic action program, the Principal of one of the prestigious army school in Kashmir valley "Army Public School Badami Bagh Srinagar" is denying the admission to the students in first class who had passed UGK from army's Chinar Public School and has been promoted to 1st class. While talking to "Early Times" the angry parents who also held protest several time blames the Principal of "Army School Badami Bagh Srinagar" Sandeep Maratha for all their sufferings and a men behind not entertaining the admission of their wards in this prestigious army school. The parents further informed that admission in almost all the schools of the valley has been closed, added that denial of admission by the principal of the school to their children's will cost them one prestigious year, as they have already suffered in terms of education due to last year floods, harsh weather condition and also this year flood threat. They said that since Sandeep Maratha who according to them also hailed from valley and settled in Himachal Pradesh took over the charge of the school some three year ago, the problems started to begin, added that only selective students of influential parents were allowed to get the admission in the school. The angry parents threaten to go on protest, beside will also approach the Union Defense Ministry for seeking justice and to get the admission of their children's done. |
