Jammu, Apr 13: Lawrence Public School, Sidhra today held its investiture ceremony to bestow the deserving students with responsibility of leading the school from front.
The ceremony started with welcome accorded to the Chief Guest Wg Cdr M M Joshi, Chairman Lawrence Public School along with the Guest of Honour Shakuntla Joshi, Founder Principal Lawrence Public School.
While addressing the assemblage Chairman of the school Wg Cdr M M Joshi said children can make a great difference to this world.
The Founder Principal Shakuntla Joshi while congratulating the students encouraged them to be committed to vital issues and always remember that leadership comes with integrity.
Both special invitees also congratulated the new members of the Literary Council, Environment Council, Sports Council and Cultural Council of the school.
During the proceedings of investiture ceremony, the chief guest presented flags and badges to the newly inducted members to the school body. This council comprised of Vaibhav Saraf-School Captain, Shikha Baru-Head Girl, Karan Bhat-Head Boy, Seerat Un Nisa-Peace House Captain, Himanshu Jamwal-Courtesy House Captain, Shazia Akhtar-Loyality House Captain, Manvi Baru-Courage House Captain besides the selection of their deputy captains. |
