Abducted minor girl recovered, accused held 4/15/2015 12:28:23 AM Early Times Report Rajouri, Apr 14: Acting swiftly Rajouri Police today claimed to have recovered a minor girl within 24 hrs of complaint lodged with police about her abduction and also arrested her kidnapper. Police sources said that the Rajouri police under the supervision of SSP Rajouri, Dr Haseeb Mughal raided a rented room of the accused in Poonch and rescued the girl from the clutches of the abductor within 24 hrs. The accused has been identified namely as Aman-ullha-Khan s/o Nasir-ullha-Khan r/o Mora Bachai under the jurisdiction of Police Station Surankote of Poonch district. Sources said, "One Manzoor Hussain of Thandikassi Rajouri lodged complaint with Rajouri Police alleging therein that his minor girl namely Gulshan Akhter (name changed) has been abducted by a driver. Quoting complainant, police sources said, "the girl was on way to carry lunch to her father at a Gharat (water mill) when she was kidnapped by Tata Sumo driver an unidentified driver. Following the complaint from the father of victim, sources said, adding, "a case vide FIR No 188/15 under sections 363/109 RPC was registered against kidnapper at Police Station Rajouri and investigations were started. "Under the directions from Hamid Choudhry, Deputy SP, HQs police post team lead by Sub Inspector Jahangir Ahmed, in-charge Police Post swung into action started investigation to track the kidnapper and messages were flashed all police posts including neighbouring district, police sources said. Sources said that during the investigations Poonch Police informed Rajouri police about the suspicious movement of a girl and boy in Poonch town and SI, Jahangir along with police party rushed to Poonch and Rajouri Police with the help of Poonch Police rescued the girl from the rented room and also arrested the accused.
