| Pahari Org term GPF's support to Hurriyat (G) as anti Pahari campaign | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, May 9: Reacting sharply to a news appeared in a section of Kashmir based newspaper that Chowdhry Saheen Iqbal of Gujjar-Pahari Forum (GPF), joined Geelani's Hurriyat faction, various Pahari Community Organisation while out rightly denied existence of any such GPF and termed it baseless and as anti-Pahari campaign.
Office holders of J&K Pahari People Movement (JKPPM), Pahri Sangarsh Morcha (PSM),Pahari Youth Front (PYF), Pahari Action Committee (PAC) and Pahari Employee's Forum (PEF) denied the existence of GPF and said that some vested interests have been using this forum for anti-national and and anti-Pahari activities.
"All these Pahari People organizations have been working /struggling for the upliftment of down trodden members of Pahari Community and have no association either with Syed Ali Geelani's outfit or with any other anti-national organization" said Shahbaz Khan, executive chairman, JKPPM.
Dr Rakesh Kumar and Vikrant Sharma, office bearers of Pahari Sangarsh Morcha (PSM) Leader said that some politicians who pose themselves as pahari leaders have damaged and make both the Forum and Advisory Board defunct for their vested and political interest.
While criticizing the baseless and self styled Pahari Organization -Gujjar-Pahari Forum (GPF), which has extended its support to Geelani lead Hurriyat Faction, Shabaz Khan and others disassociated from any such support to Separatist leader and his movement. |
