BJP not happy with its ministers, legislators in JK 5/9/2015 11:30:23 PM Early Times Report jammu, May 9: The national leadership of the BJP is unhappy with the working of its ministers and legislators. The party has decided to keep a close watch on them. They have been warned of losing their ministries if they fail to perform. "Even in two-months there have been reports that BJP ministers have been ignoring common people. The legislators have been found in the offices than attending to the complaints and grievances of the common people. "If it's not corrected now, a wrong impression of the party will go among the people and this we will not accept at any cost," said a national leader, who is tasked with the monitoring of the Jammu and Kashmir unit of the party. The top leader, quoted above said, that BJP has made it clear to the J&K leaders that it will not allow the repeat of the Karnataka here . "The BJP formed first ever government in Karnataka in 2008 but because of the lust for power and internal squabbling the party not only lost power there but is finding it hard to get back to the place of governance. In Karnataka, we can still build up, but in J&K, which is the only Muslim majority state, this should be treated as the first and last chance, if we perform badly," said the leader. The BJP national leadership is very keen for delivering on poll promises and giving a transparent government as it is the only way to bring the faith of the Muslims in the party, which has always looked at this party with suspicions. Even though the party is in government, its opposition parties especially the Congress is leaving now opportunity to project it is a 'communal' party with specific design of stoking 'fear' among the Muslims, especially in the valley. "Governance and corruption free government is our only chance and means to blunt of the charges of the Congress.
