Prof Chouhan elected as staff secretary

Udhampur, May 9: Teaching staff of Govt College for Women (GCW) Udhampur held a meeting today to elect the new staff secretary of the college in which Prof B.P Singh Chouhan of Botany Department was unanimously elected as new staff secretary of the college for the academic session 2015-16.
Among others elected to executive body included Dr Arun Sharma and Dr Ashok Kumar Sharma who were also elected as Joint Secretary and Treasurers respectively.
After being declared elected as staff secretary, Prof Chouhan in his thanksgiving address expressed his gratitude to all the faculty members for reposing faith on him. He also assured the staff that he will make all possible efforts to render his best services in his capacity as staff secretary. Dr Bhavinaish Chand, Prof Ashni Devi, Dr Arun Sharma, Dr Ashok Kumar Sharma, Prof Ravinder Kour, Dr Mool Raj, Prof Brinder Kumar, Dr Shalini Sharma, Prof Parveen Kumari, Prof Tania Akhtar were also present in this meeting. In the end Principal GCW (Udhampur) Prof K S Koushal congratulated the new staff secretary.
