| Two injured as AC compressor at SBI bursts | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 9: Two persons sustained injuries on Saturday noon when the compressor of an Air Conditioner (AC) burst today. Concerned Police have registered a case and started investigations
"The injured have been identified as Pawan kumar and Jagdev Singh, both residents of Shakti Nagar, police sources said
According to reports, the incident took place in the State Bank of India (SBI)Branch at Bahu Plaza and soon after the explosion panic gripped the area as people apprehended it as bomb blast.
Sources said, the compressor blasted during repair works of the AC by mechanics who reached at the SBI Office in their vehicle bearing regd no PB3/5950. Soon after the blast of compressor the bank staff shifted injured to Govt Medical College (GMC) Jammu for their serious burn injuries.
Meanwhile, Trikuta Nagar police have registered a case in this connection. |
