Anganwadi workers continue protest over 'termination order' 5/9/2015 11:03:33 PM Reasi May 9: Anganwadi workers and helpers of ICDS Centres, under the banner of J&K Trade Union Front (JKTUF) today held a protest in front of Office of Deputy Commissioner Reasi and demanded revocation of termination order issued by State Mission Director ICDS. Amid slogans against state government and conce4rned department, the protestors said that those who have been terminated are in thousands and have been made scapegoat to the fault of authorities who miserably failed to fulfill the required procedure of appointments. While addressing the protesting workers, Mohd Gafoor Dar, State president, JKTUF, condemned the attitude of the State Government particularly the ICDS Minister for harassing and victimizing the poor Anganwari workers and helpers by issuing termination orders with malafide intention to enroll his own people in the ICDS.
