Early Times Report Jammu, May 9: A deputation of Association of Jammu & Kashmir Polytechnics Academic Arrangements (AJKPAA) met with Minister of Technical Education Imran Raza Ansari
at Government Polytechnic Jammu, and apprised him about their grievances. According to press release, the deputation comprising of lecturers and demonstrators from various government Polytechnics of the region working as Academic Arrangements on contractual basis since 10-20 years continuously submitted a detailed representation to the minister demanding their regularization of services under the newly framed Recruitment Policy by the State government. The minister gave a patient hearing to the genuine demands of the suffering lecturers/demonstrators and assured them that he would consider the matter seriously. He maintained that he would soon take up the matter with the Chief Minister to initiate the process for the Academic Arrangements to bring them under the ambit of the new policy. The deputation included Gagan Pratap, Atul Sudan, Saifullah Mattoo, Mukesh Padha, Rakesh Bhat, Renu Kotwal, Pooja Gupta , Neena Gupta, Jasbir Singh,Atul Kodhi, Harjinder Singh, Umesh Gupta, Shalini Goel, Seema Kanotra and others. |
