Illegal timber cleft, fertilizer seized in Doda 5/9/2015 11:34:40 PM Early Times Report Doda, May 9: Continuing its drive against the timber smugglers and other anti social elements, Doda police today arrested three persons in three separate incidents and recovered 33 illegal timber clefts and 10 bags of fertilizers (IFFCO brand) from their possession. Police sources said, "Based on reliable information, Police party of Police Station Thathri led by SI Ravi Parihar, SHO PS Thathri conducted raid in villages Bankaanthawa and Gosti Tehsil Chrialla. "During searches the police team seized 16 illicit timber logs from one Ravinder Singh S/o Lakhmi Chand R/o Bankaanthawa and 17 illicit scants from one Farooq Ahmed S/o Abdul Rashid Lone R/o Gosti Chiralla respectively, sources said. Accordingly FIR No. 28/2015 and 29/2015 u/s 379 RPC, 6 Forest Act stand registered in PS Thathri accused who have been taken into custody for further investigation. Meanwhile on a tip off, Police Party of Police Station Thathri seized 10 bags of illicit fertilizer (IFFCO Company) from the shop of Abdul Majeed s/o Mohd Shafi Lone R/o Bajja Tehsil Chirala at Sewa Chirala.
