Shavan delivers lecture on PSGA at IMPA 5/9/2015 11:40:37 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 9: Known for the best initiatives and quality Services, Regional Director, Survey & Land Records, Rajesh Kumar Shavan( KAS), invited by the J&K IMPA to deliver lecture and interact with Senior functionaries of different departments on the implementation of Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA). According to press release, while interacting with the senior officers of Revenue Department, CAPC, Drug & Food Organization, Health & Fund Office, the Regional Director asked the officers to come to the expectations of the Common Men and deliver the best quality Public Services within stipulated period. He emphasized the officers to become the role Model in their Organizations so far as transparency & Punctuality is concerned as this is only due to these reasons that the Act has been promulgated by the legislation to make the Public authorities accountable and liable for penalty. Various provisions of the Act, like the penalty clause & the departmental action envisaged in the Act was deliberate threadbare. The IMPA in view of the requirement conducted a counsil of three days to sensitize the designated officers. A Website of Directorate has also been created to make the people aware about the availability of Record in Central Record Roompertaining to Regional Directorate.
