Pouni, May 9: To strengthen the good public relations, Reasi police, under the supervision of SSP Reasi, Sujit Kumar, is now a days seen holding meetings at various places in the district.
In this connection, a police-public interaction meet was held today at Bhambla, Pouni. The meeting was chaired by DySp (Hqr) Mohan Sharma accompanied by SHO Pouni, Ajay Bhatt and in charge Police Post Bhambla. The meeting was attended by members of PRI's, shopkeepers and locals.
The participants expressed their concern over number of issues like, regular checking in the markets, traffic management on the highway, overloading and drug addiction.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma highlighted moral and ethical duties of community and general counseling about community policing. He also briefed the public on social evils and its effects on the society and need of good police public relations. Assuring all possible help and assistance to the people, Sharma sought co-operation from the public so as to prevent and detect any crime incidence. |
