MHA team visits border villages 5/9/2015 11:49:10 PM Early Times Report Kathua, May 9: To take stock of problems of border population, a centrally sponsored team of Home Ministry led by Deputy Secretary of Home Ministry, M.K Bhardwaj visited at Bobya sector of "International Border" area in Tehsil Hiranagar. The villagers strongly reacted over the visit of team. While speaking to media Sarpanch Baharat Bushan and Naib Sarpanch Teerath Singh showed their disagreement with the style of functioning of team. "The team was not seemed serious towards our grievances and it was only a formality", they alleged. They said, the team stayed at a BSF post along with some district and Tehsil officers, who are already been failed to put up the actual grievances and requirements of border areas. The victimized big population of this area was not informed about the visit of this team, they told. While the fact is that no compensation is seriously tried to deliver among the border population till date by the government.
