Awareness camp for Dairy cum Poultry farmers held 5/9/2015 11:50:07 PM Early Times Report RAMBAN, May 9: An awareness camp for Dairy cum Poultry farmers of Banihal was held today at Gund Adal Kote campus of Animal Husbandry Department Banihal. A large number of progressive farmers participated in the camp . Member District advisory Board while speaking on the occasion highlighted the problems being faced by the farmers and said that the farmers are facing difficulty in getting insurance cover on the death of an animal for which the procedure is very tedious and time consuming .He suggested that a survey should be conducted to provide benefits of the welfare schemes and provide subsidized feed and fodder to dairy farmers . Director Animal Husbandry Department Dr. S. L.
