Manasbal, May 9: Special Secretary, Animal/Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries Department Amit Sharma today visited Manasbal Fish Seed Farm and has appreciated the quality of work and infrastructure at National Fish Seed Farm, Manasbal
Joint Director (Projects) Kashmir, Fisheries Department, Chief Project Officer, and other senior officers of the department accompanied Special Secretary, Animal/Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries Department during his maiden visit to farm.
During his extensive tour of Manasbal Farm spread over 400 kanals of land, Amit was apprised that this Fish Seed Farm produces huge quantum of fish seed which is produced in hatcheries of the farm throughout the year. "Special Secretary also visited laboratories, Training-cum-Awareness facilities, lot of fish seed ponds, apart from state-of-the-art Fish Feed Plant in the campus located adjacent to the famous Manasbal lake, official spokesperson said.
Exhorting employees to remain devoted to their work, Amit Sharma appreciated newly established Fully-Automated Fish Feed Plant created inside this Farm Campus which is producing top-quality carnivores feed for Trout fish being supplied not only locally but also being exported out of this facility outside the state. |
