Mothers' day celebrated in schools | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 9: Mothers' day was today celebrated in various schools across state. Euro Care Pre School Trikuta Nagar organized a function in which Bablina was the chief guest, who is administrator associated hospitals, Harmeet Kour Md of Harward collage and Bala Gupta director of Euro Care and dear mothers were also present in the occasion.Ritu beri principal of euro care applauded and appreciated by the audience. Meanwhile a function was also organized at Kartar Public School Barnoti Kathua, wherein a function was organized. Manjula Dogra Principal KPS welcomed the mothers present on the occasion. She focused on the importance & role of mother in building and development of a child as a good human being. Students of School from Pre - Nursery to Sr. Kg. Participated in different events. Students of Pre-nursery and Nursery class presented poems and songs dedicated to their mothers. Students of Jr. Kg. Class presented greeting cards to their Mothers. Mothers of the students also participated and enjoyed various activities like Musical Chair, Super Mom contest, Best Singer, Mothers also share their thoughts & feeling on motherhood. Er. Nirmaljit Singh Amn, Chairman Kartar Educational Trust told the Students about the importance of Mothers in an individual's life. He further added the significance of truth and values in today's life. Mrs. Harpreet Kour Secretary KPS presented vote of thanks to all the parents. Speaking on the occasion she facilitated everyone for their great efforts and interest for today's even May Fair Schools today celebrated Mother's day in which they organized a Grand Function here at Chand Nagar, Janipur Branch. A special assembly was organized in the school in which students presented beautiful poems and songs in English and Hindi. Ranjit Kour Principal of the school advised the students to thank the mothers on this day for all the sacrifices that they have done to make our lives comfortable and lovable. "A Mother is she who can take the place of all others , but whose place no one else can take", he said. The Chairman - May Fair Schools Vijay Kumar Basur told the students about the importance of mothers in an individual life. Mothers day was celebrated today in New Era Environmental High School. Students of different classes participated in it. Children presented various performances including songs, poems, articles and stories. All the presentation were dedicated to Mothers. Children thanked their mothers for always being there for them. They owed their life to their mothers who brings them up selflessly and dedicates and even sacrifices her life for them. Prabha Jain, Principal of the School applauded the students on their performance and guided the children to be thankful to their mothers not only through Poems & stories but also by action and deeds. Luthra Public School and Shemrock Angels School celebrated Mothers Day with pomp and show here in Jammu. A painting competition was organized within the school premises by the school management in which students of Primary and Middle Wing participated with great fanfare. Students made beautiful cards as a token of love for their mothers on the day which was appreciated by the school administration as well as the parents of the students studying there. The programme was held under the supervision of Shoba Suri, Anuradha Kotwal, Sunita Suri, Gulshan Rattan and Sanjeev Luthra-Principal of the school. Welcoming Mothers and daughters to celebrate International Mother's day, Zumba Fitness Party today organized Mother Day at Amar Singh Club Jammu. More than 100 ladies were participated. According to press release, the event was organized by Shape and smile, the Fitness Club & Planet Fitness in association with the Amar Singh Club Jammu with Jammu Links as Web Partners. The party with theme "Let the music Free your Body- A fun , active health inspired day " was mainly focused on Zumba- a popular fitness program . The party was led by certified Zumba Instructors namely Zin Aarti Mahajan Dingra and Zin Pavit kour who pumped up the crowd with a variety of dance move including salsa, hip hop, mambo and even some Bollywood and belly dancing. Earlier the event was inaugurated by Vijay Saraf Secretary Amar Singh Club which featured some spellbound dances by Daniya sudan and suneha Kailwoo. Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 49th Musical Play "Pyar Ka Sagar Maa " in co-ordination with Unision Cultural Troupe , Sangam Tru Art & ESRM as part of its regular feature in the office premise today . The Program was inaugurated by the chief guest VK Magotra, Former regional director, Directorate of field publicity, Ministry of information and broadcasting, Government of India. Madhuvan Kids Playway celebrates "Mother's Day" with great exuberance. Little made cards for their mothers with the help of teacher. They danced and spoke some lines for their mothers greatness, Felicity was clearly seen on the little kids Honable Principal Mam, Mrs Amrit Choudhary addressed the student about the great day by saying that, "A mother's heart is brave and scarifies its own pleasure for the welfare of the family". She concluded by saying that we should give respect and love to our mothers. Mother's Day celebrated all over the world on 2nd Sunday of every May. As truly said: "A Mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take", MV International School dedicated the day for the 'Mothers'. A special assembly was organised in the school in which students presented a talk, heart touching poems in English and Hindi and a beautiful song was presented by the choir of Newton House. Principal of the school advised the students to thank the mothers on this day for all the sacrifices that they have done to make our lives comfortable and lovable. Prep-Wing students prepared special cards for their mothers to show their love for them. Prep Wing also organized 'Show & Tell Competition' in which children participated enthusiastically. Director Prep Aakriti Abrol conveyed to the young toddlers that without mothers there is no love and affection in life, so they should shower their love and respect on their mothers. |
