Jalandhar, May 10: A group of 20 students & faculty-members from England's Coventry University reached LPU Campus under study exchange program. This was the third visit of students from Coventry University in a row since 2013. LPU has specially designed a program of advanced knowledge about varied Indian aspects for the students of its partner foreign universities. Under this program, Coventry students learnt about Indian businesses, related policies, students' entrepreneurship, IT power and cultural values. Visiting students were also led to various Industries, IT companies, NGOs, and top places of cultural importance. Highlighting, in addition to other top universities of the USA, China, Canada and more; Coventry University of the UK is one of the partner universities of LPU. In fact, adopting global perspective, LPU has a strong internationalization strategy for which LPU has partnerships and tie ups with world class institutions in the both academic and non-academic areas. As a part of partnership programs, students of foreign countries and LPU go on mutual visits to enhance their global understanding. LPU's international relations help it to work closely for developing collaborative research, education programs and also exchange programs for students and faculty-members. Belonging to different study programs, UK students intensified their international understanding and awareness during the visit. Foreign students had a campus tour where they interacted with LPU MBA students. During debate & lecture sessions on business ethics and India - the growing IT giant, visiting students accumulated know-how about Indian economy, IT endeavours and Industry needs/ expectations. Welcoming the visiting group, LPU Chancellor Ashok Mittal said: "We have devised an established program of international participation through mutual visits of students and faculty. |
