To tackle local Sangh leadership, Prof Aima utilizing services of central RSS leaders VC has successfully created differences in "disciplined" RSS 5/11/2015 12:32:14 AM Early Times Report Jammu, May 10: Realizing that his appointment has created "heart-burn" in BJP as well as Sangh Parivar leadership, newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Central University Jammu Prof Ashok Aima is all out to please RSS leaders, especially central leadership, to check those who are not happy with this appointment. Prof Ashok Aima is deliberately trying to appease those RSS and BJP leaders, who do not have good terms with the incumbent RSS leadership of Jammu and Kashmir and central leadership of ABVP. As reported earlier, Sanjay Kachroo, tainted former OSD of HRD Minister Smriti Irani, had played important role in the appointment of Prof Aima as Vice Chancellor of Central University. Local RSS leadership and ABVP had projected name of a eminent scholar from South India for this important post so that working in the University should be expedited but Kachroo, with the support of the local BJP leader, had sabotaged RSS's move and got Prof Aima appointed on this prestigious post. Credible sources said that a BJP leader, who wanted to teach J&K RSS leadership a lesson, played very important role in the appointment of Prof Aima because this leader wanted to give a lesson to the Sangh Parivar that he was more powerful then entire state leadership. Prof Aima had managed post of Central University Vice Chancellor but now he has realized that he should keep a check on local RSS leadership so he has started damage control exercise to keep central Sangh Parivar in good humour. He also realized that after throwing out Sanjay Kachroo from HRD Ministry he required support of some RSS men so he has started utilizing services of RSS leaders. Interestingly, Prof Aima is playing so smartly. Instead of giving importance to local RSS leaders, he has established direct link with central RSS leaders. Some power-brokers also helping Prof Aima in this regard. Within a couple of days after his appointment, Prof Aima managed to take senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar to the University campus to get his blessing.
