R S Pura, May 10: Contradicting the transfer policy of the Police Department, an Assistant sub inspector, native of R S Pura has managed to remain under the jurisdiction of RS pura sub division for years.
According to the reliable sources, ASI of Police RS Pura, namely Raj Kumar has managed to stay on at the same police Post from past about 5 years.
Sources said that the said ASI has never been transferred outside R S Pura tehsil in last 15 year and he exhibits his arrogance in the area, he openly flaunts his political affiliation for his immunity to transfers.
Sources further said that while many officers including Incharge Police Post, and SHO' were transferred from the same Tehsil , but the said ASI is somehow managing the duty at same Tehsil and even at same Police Post.
SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand when contacted said that the ASI is presently attached at Kulian Check Post on temporary basis. He further added, " I will check out the matter and the same official will be transferred within few days". |
