Jammu, May 10: Based on the history of medieval India, a book in Punjabi titled 'Sikh Panth De Mahan Jarnail' written by Late Darshan Kaur was released in the impressive programme at Gurdwara Baba Fateh Singh, Gandhi Nagar Jammu. The book was released by Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East, Rangil Singh, renowned intellectual, Chairman, MBS college of Engneering and Technology, Babliana, Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Mr Matinder Singh, son of late Mrs Darshan kaur, author of the book and S Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik, President, Punjabi Lekhak Sabha, Jammu. While speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Gupta MLA said that Darshan Kaur was well reputed and legendary personality of the area who had contributed whole life in serving the needy people, women folk and other bringing awareness among the youth against drugs and other social evils. |
