Vijapur, May 10: Congress workers of Vijaypur constituency today took to the streets and launched a protest against the PDP-BJP government's proposed new recruitment policy.
Arun Sharma, senior Congress Leader was leading the protesters here at Gurha Morh, Vijaypur wherein large numbers of party activists participated.
The protesters were raising slogans against shifting of the AIIMS Hospital to valley in spite of Jammu as the hospital, according to them, was sanctioned for Jammu region.
The Congress workers warned the coalition government that if the AIIMS Hospital will not be shifted back to Jammu, they will launch coercive battle and for all the future consequences, PDP-BJP dispensation will be responsible.
Sharma alleged that the BJP leaders have sit in the lapse of government compromising with the sentiments and emotions of the people of Jammu region. |
