JAMMU, May 21: Sant Mela Singh College of Education, Digiana Jammu celebrated its Annual Day function today.
Mahant Manjit Singh, the sole trustee was the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest followed by Ganesh Vandana.
Dr. Kiran Luthra, Principal of the College presented the Annual Report highlighting various curricular & co-curricular activities of the college conducted during the Session.
A Colourful cultural programme was presented by the students, comprising Gidda, Dogri dance, Kashmiri dance, Rajasthani folk dance, Punjabi Song & Solo Songs was applauded by the audience.
Prizes distribution was also organized on the occasion wherein prizes, mementoes were given away to the winners, Regular, Talented & Best students of the College by the Chief Guest.
Mahant Manjit Singh in his address appreciated the efforts made by the students in performing different activities of the day & stressed upon the pupil teachers to work hard & to prepare themselves to take up teaching assignment quite effectively in future. He also stressed upon the pupil teachers to uphold the moral values in social life. |
