LWWS organizes awareness programme 5/22/2015 12:11:19 AM Early Times Report Jammu, May 21: Lalded Women Welfare Society organized two days SC workers awareness programme at village Jhang Tehsill and district Samba in collaboration with central board of workers education. In the programme 40 females took part. While addressing the participants SA Najee Education Officer, Regional Directorate, Jammu said that there are so many Schemes initiated by the Government for SC community but due to lack of awareness they are not getting proper benefit out of it. Santosh Basotra (Secretary) LWWS told that their organization is working since 14 years back for upliftment of women and their plight is being raised through different forums. She told if any genuine case is not receiving benefit for any side they may bring into our notice and definitely, they will be helped accordingly. Ram Paul (Writer / Social Activist/ Coordinator (LWWS) also kept his views in that programme and he said time has come to educate our girls to get proper share in each and every field and our efforts should be focused on women's welfare and empowerment.
