Youth Congress pays tributes to Rajiv Gandhi 5/22/2015 12:31:55 AM Early Times Report Billawar, May 21: To pay the homage to the beloved leader of the country Late Rajiv Gandhi the former Prime Minister of India on his death anniversary, The Lok Sabha Youth Congress Kathua Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary Constituency and senior Congress leader Pankaj Basotra organized a programme at Government Middle School Bhaiya. Lok Sabha President Youth Congress and others distributed the educational material and fruit to the poor and needy students of the school in the presence of the prominent residents of the area and school staff. In his tributes Pankaj Basotra said that Late Rajiv Gandhi has also empowered the common man by introducing the Panchayati Raj System in the country to involve the masses in the development of the country at gross root level. He said that the Information & Technology system was also introduced by Gandhi to complete his mission 21st century. He reminded that Late Smt. Indira Gandhi and late Rajiv Gandhi have laid their lives for the unity and integrity of the country.
