NC holds protest against new recruitment policy | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar, May 21: National Conference District unit Kishtwar under the leadership of Qazi Jalal ud Din, Ex MLA Inderwal today held a strong protest against the new recruitment policy announced by the PDP-BJP government and block the main road outside DC office Kishtwar causes lot of inconvenience to the commuters as well as the people traveling on this road. While addressing the gathering, Qazi Jalal ud Din termed the new recruitment policy as anti unemployed youths and demanded its immediate roll back, added that in case government fail to address the demand of employment to unemployed youths through already established mechanism of appointments through JKSSRB and JKPSC. He said that there is no need of any new recruitment policy and demanded for expediting of recruitment process pending before in JKSSRB and JKPSC. He also slammed the government over its failure to address the water crises in Kishtwar town and its adjoining areas, beside also rued the shortage of doctors in various hospitals of Kishtwar including District Hospital Kishtwar. He said that the condition of roads is also poor and has become the cause of major road accidents in the area. Senior party leader Imtiyaz Zarger demanded immediate start of work on 850 MW Rattle power project so that the unemployed youths of Kishtwar get job opportunities in the said project. He said that the work on power projects like 1000 MW Pakal-Dool power project should also be started so that more unemployed youths could be adjusted. Later party deputation also meet with DC Kishtwar and apprised him about the problems faced by the people of Kishtwar, beside also conveyed him about the party resentment against new recruitment policy announced recently by the government. Among the prominent who speak on this occasion include Rajinder Sen, D D Farooq, Mohammad Aslam Dev, Ghulam Abbas Munshi and others. |
