J&K Grameen Bank organizes awareness programme 5/22/2015 12:32:39 AM Early Times Report Rajouri, May 21: J&K Grameen Bank under the Chairmanship of Vagish Chander Sharma in collaboration with NABARD organized awareness programme on the recently launched Pradhan Mantri's Social Security Schemes at village Lam district Rajouri. On the occasion, DDM NABARD Des Raj Bhagat who was chief guest on the occasion spoke at length about the various schemes of NABARD i.e., Farmer Clubs (FC's), Self Help Groups (SHG's) & Joint Liability Groups (JLG's). VK Sharma senior manager MF&FI Department J&K Grameen Bank informed the participants at length regarding the benefits of newly launched schemes named (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana. He further informed the gathering that these schemes have been designed to provide security cover to the poor population particularly those working in the unorganized sectors.
