Div Com's website caters misinformation Names of officers, contact details not updated 6/4/2015 12:12:02 AM Mohd Irfan Early Times Report Jammu, June 3: Notwithstanding the e-governance claims of the government, the website of the Divisional commissioner Jammu has outdated information uploaded thus misleading the people who visit the site for seeking varied information. The website continues to carry the names of DDCs who have recently been transferred and the names of incumbent DDCs have not been uploaded. The website continues to exhibit Ajeet Kumar Sahu as DDC Jammu while he was transferred and posted as Addl CEO SMVDSB and Simarandeep Singh had replaced him following Cabinet order dated May 18. Similarly, the information on DDCs of all other districts of Jammu province is also not updated. Even the contact number 9419025285 on the website of Divisional commissioner is also wrong. Ironically, in the message of the Divisional commissioner posted on the website the Div Com expresses his pleasure to launch this website with an aim to improve the presence of Jammu and Kashmir on world web. Talking to Early Times, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr.Pawan Kotwal admitted that the website is not being updated.
