Early Times Report Srinagar, June 3: Government Wednesday advised people to refrain from consuming Maggi noodles-a product of Nestle India. Jammu and Kashmir Food Minister Chodhri Zulfkar during a high level meeting with the officials of CAPD asked the department to inform people about the harmful effects of the Maggi noodles. Director Abdul Rashid Var said that laboratory tests have revealed that the Maggi samples are 'unsafe' for consumption. "The samples taken for laboratory test has shown that Maggi noodles contain lead content more than the permissible limit and its consumption is harmful to a human body," he said and added that people should stop using consuming Maggi noodles so far. |
