Jammu Polytechnic Jammu Clinched Gold Medal in 14th Jammu District Fencing Championship under the guidance of J&K Fencing Association at Indoor Complex M A Stadium, Jammu. In the said District Championship under 17 Sabre event, Karun Clinched Silver Medal while Rudhar and Abdul Rafiq satisfied with Bronze Medal. In the closing ceremony function, Rajan Sharma Divisional Sports Officer of J&K State Sports Council was the Chief Guest who gave away prizes in the presence of Vijay Sharma, General Secretary of J&K Fencing Association including other dignities. Vansh Mahajan recently also Clinched Bronze Medal in 11th Cadet National Fencing Championship in the month of March 2015 held at Bhilali, Chattisgarh. Vansh Mahajan has dream to represent country in common wealth games and Asian Championships. Young upcoming budding fencer of the J&K State Vansh Mahajan has won eight medals in the different competitions including national.
