PWD (R&B) Need Base/Casual Workers stage protest against local leaders 6/7/2015 11:52:40 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, June 7: PWD (R&B) Need Base /Casual Workers Union (PWDNCWU) and ITI trained workers staged protest demonstration against Choudhary Qamar Hussain , Rajouri MLA and Vibodh Gupta, MLC alleging that they were betrayed on the issue of raising their demands before the Chief Minister. Riaz Mughal , president PWDNCWU, alleged that before the visit of Chief Minister scheduled for today, Ch Qamar Hussain and Vibodh Gupta met them and assured to take up their demands with Chief Minister during their meeting today. "They also promised to issue passes to our two representatives so that we can place our demands before the Chief Minister. But neither they raised our demands in the meeting nor they managed passes to our representatives and by doing so both MLA and MLC had played with the sentiments of poor worker" said Riaz Khan. He added as the genuine cause of poor workers was ignored by the elected representatives and members of civil society on an appropriate plate form so poor workers today held protest against them and union has decided to again start indefinite strike from Monday onwards.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
