Jammu, June 7: In a broad day light incident, some unidentified miscreants beat Personnel Security Officer (PSO) of the Superintendent of Police Udey Bhaskar Billa, posted with the Special Operation Group (SOG) here on Sunday. The victim cop has been identified as Tersam Lal.He was rushed to the police hospital for treatment.
As per reports, the cop was on way to his duty at the rented accommodation of SP in Trikuta Nagar when three motorcycle borne youth intercepted and assaulted him.The incident took place just an arm length of residence of SP.
However,Trikuta Nagar police have registered a case u/s 332,147,148 RPC in this connection. |
